LO's nights have been getting shorter and shorter since she started daycare, now hovering around 9 hrs with one wakeup to eat (8-5). I'm in touch with my Isis consultant person, but I have a feeling she's going to tell me to shorten her day sleep in order to extend her nights.
Obviously daycare lets her sleep as long as she wants (as I would expect!).
Has anyone had to talk to daycare about waking their LO from naps? I hate having to do this, but admit the days we need to (weekends where we have places to be, etc), she does sleep longer at night. I hear if they approach around 5 hrs of day sleep, it's too much and cuts into nights. LO hovers around 4-4.5 right now.
She is 4.5 months old.
