I have an unopened package of diapers that are too small for LO, and I can't return them because I ordered a case online. Is it worth keeping them for hypothetical #2, or should I just donate them? I don't have any pregnant friends or anything to give them to as a gift.

I say if you have the storage space, keep them. If not, donate them!

I just packed unused diapers away in storage with the rest of the newborn stuff. It was actually a nice surprise when we had #2 and found a package of diapers. I had forgotten I put them in there!

If you don't have someone to give them to, I'd keep them for later. Just pack them in a big tupperware thingy.

@winniebee: Ohh, tupperware container! I hadn't thought of that. I have a whole box of newborn diapers as well.

I would keep them, or at least wait until you do have a pregnant friend to include in their shower gift.

if you have space, keep them, if not, definitely donate them! i know they would be wanted and used!

For me, if they were still in the plastic wrap, I kept them. But I heard humidity can get to them if they are opened and just loose so anything that had been opened I donated.

if you have space, keep them and give them to someone who is preggers, or if you're on your local message board post a post and see if someone wants them.

I kept all extra diapers I had for #2, and they're coming in handy now! If you have the space, I say keep them.

I would keep them! I unraveled a bunch of diapers from a year old diaper cake last week- lots of newborn and size ones!

I give all my extras to a friend with a daughter who was born 2 months ago. I have no plans to conceive any time in the next 2 years, so there's no way I want to store extra crap I don't need now. I'm getting rid of my swing for the same reason.

Did you know diapers have an expiration date? You may want to check the package.
