The past week it has taken Mr. Bee hours to get Charlie to go to bed. We were truly spoiled by 21 months of sleeping through the night. Now I think he's too smart and says he wants milk, to read more books, that he pooped, that he wants to take off his sleep sack. We've had to let him cry a couple of nights, and a couple of nights Mr. Bee fell asleep holding his hand through the crib slats.

One night when he wasn't wearing his sleep sack, he nearly climbed out of his crib until Mr. Bee stopped him. (He doesn't want to wear his sleep sack anymore!)

So we're considering moving him to a floor bed this weekend. Then we could read books with him, and maybe lay down for a little while before bedtime. I was hoping to keep him in his crib for as long as possible, but once your toddler can really talk, it's hard to ignore him!

When did you transition to a toddler bed?
