Show me your playroom! We are turning our back room into a playroom, although part of it will remain mudroom as it's our back door and the coat closet is there.
Looking for some inspiration!

Ooh, subscribing. I'm always looking for new or better things to do with our playroom. Right now all the pics I have show it after D dumped all the ballpit balls and dragged it around the room. I'll try to post a more normal looking one later.

Does a play 'corner' count? We dont have the space currently for a full room for DS so for now he has his own corner to play in he is 13 months old. sorry about the crappy phone picture

Our whole house IS the playroom? lol I wish we had designated spaces for playrooms. I guess a corner of our family room is designated to the play kitchen and bigger toys. But it's not decorated as a "kids area" because you see it immediately upon entry.
@MrsHoneyC: Where did you get that lil fox? My sister would love it!

@shopaholic: that little fox is actually a heatable bean bag pad for the microwave, DS saw it at winners and broke into laughter (which rarely ever happens) so i decided he had to come home with us. The brand is HOOTY. my plan is to eventually open a seem and take out all the insides and replace them with pillow fluff so he can be a regular stuffed animal.

This is in one corner of our "bar/den" about 10'x6'
the first two are from when we made the little area the last is from christmas morning - we replaced the floor pillow with the kitchen and the christmas tree is where the chair was. We'll be rearranging again once we undecorate.

This is our playroom, which is technically the "sunroom". I'd really like to get some window treatments and do some decorating, but it's been a lower priority on the list since we moved in over the summer.

@ShootingStar: It's such a nice big space! Currently, the room we will use is DH's office. We'll move that to the basement to make room for the kid stuff.

@Mrs. J: when we move to our next house we are going to have a travel/world theme playroom but for now this is ours. We sacrificed a dining room for a playroom, I like the toys being in one place and this room works so well as it's gated but adjoins both the kitchen and the lounge so I can see him playing easily. I think the must for every playroom is organization and storage. If everything has its place it's so much easier to keep tidy!
