DD is 14 months, and today they moved her from the baby room to the toddler room for the first time. When I went to pick her up, before they said anything else they asked me if she ever plays with other babies. They said that she spent the day mostly sitting in the corner watching, and didn't really interact with the other kids. In the baby room she mostly has played alone, too, probably because she was several months older than the next kid.

The way they said it sounded like they thought it was weird, but she's always been shy, only interacts with other kids at daycare, can barely walk, and it seems pretty normal to me to be reserved in that situation. I'm not crazy, right? Is there anything I can do to help her? She's only 14 months, so it's not like I can talk through it with her that much.
