DS (age 3) still has trouble being aggressive towards his sister, age 11 months. I want to stock up our library with books that include siblings who get along, even if that isn't the focus of the plot. I'd prefer boy-girl siblings, older boy younger girl, and/or human characters. Any favorites?

When you start reading early chapter books, the Magic Treehouse series is excellent for this! The storyline of siblings who fight is one of my pet peeves in childrens’ literature!

I just read Peter's Chair - it's a sweet little book about a boy who is upset that all his baby stuff is being given to his sister. I wish I'd read it to DS when DD1 was born, he was so upset over that exact thing!

This is a TV show, not a book, but it is a TV show based on a book
I love that Pinkalicious on PBS has adventures with her brother Peterific pretty much every episode! "Getting Along" is not usually the focus - they just like to be together and are kind to each other! I bet you could find some Peterific books that fit the bill.

I just found the Charlie and Mouse books and we LOVE them. I have two boys who are 18 months apart (almost 4 and 2.25) and the boys in the book are just a slightly older version.
I know you asked about books but we also really love the sibling relationship in the TV show Puffin Rock on Netflix. It's the sweetest and helped us a lot about a year ago when the young one started to get in the olders way/want to play together more.

There is also Mail Harry to the Moon. Which addresses the frustration an older sibling has with a baby.
