Matzo ball soup. Cures everything! My mom also used to mix a soft boiled egg with challah for me when I was sick.

Rob Sr. used to get me the "Tina Special" from McDonald's. We'd share a small fries, 6 pc nuggets, a McDouble, and an M&M McFlurry. He'd usually get himself a McChicken to round it out to enough food for 2.
Now that stuff makes me feel even worse the next morning
I used to have chicken pho all the time when sick... yum.

Grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup. It must be Campbell's, though. Oh, and Saltine crackers!

@Mrs. Yoyo: ooh you just reminded me, grilled cheese!! I taught Rob Sr. to make it the way my dad used to make it. Yum.

@mrs. wagon: you guys always share food, so sweet! If I shared with hubby, I probably wouldn't get any!

@artbee: haha! We do share food a lot! I guess I talk about food a lot here on hellobee since it's one of my favorite subjects.. hehe.. Rob Sr. does eat a lot but he always makes sure I get what I want since he's been traumatized by a few times when he'd pop a bite into his mouth and I'd say "I was saving that for myself..." haha. I think it comes from him being a considerate older brother... he always saved the best and last bites for his little bro!

chicken soup and ice cream for me too. and porridge/congee/jook... it's what you traditionally eat in korean culture when you're sick since it goes down easy.

Pho used to be my go to sick food. When I was younger, it was chicken soup, Filipino sopas (shredded chicken with macaroni and veggies milk soup), lugaw/arroz caldo (same as congee).
Now it's tea with lemon and honey and whatever hot food I can get down. I really wish they sold pho here =(

Hubby always makes me rice porridge when I'm sick. It's almost like my brain is programmed to only eat that when I'm sick. LOL!
@mrs. wagon: That's so sweet of your hubby!!
