Dd has had a nasty stomach virus for the last 24 hours but in the last 6 hours or so had been able to keep down crackers and pedi lite. Any real foods to recommend for lunch now she's feeling better?

Yoghurt! Easy on the tummy and nutritious. The only thing DS will eat when sick, his favourite is strawberry.

I would stick to the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) and give her stomach some time to recover. Then I would start working in some other foods tomorrow, like boiled chicken. Keep it bland and easily digestable for a day or two.

Yeah, bread, applesauce. Plain stuff. We're dealing with a sickie over here.

We also do soup (chicken, vegetable, seaweed, miso) with a little bit of rice. Comfort food!
