Oh my god. T has been sick since Monday and has been a terror! He has had a nasty cold and fever and barely ate for 4 days and won't let me do anything!! He's attached to my leg and nothing pleases him! And the tantruns! hes still too youbg to really communicate well and its so frustrating. I've decided a sick toddler is worse than a sick baby. I feel bad for him but...woah. .

It's so hard having a sick toddler. They are definitely more clingy and harder to deal with. I think sick babies are hard, too though. I just remember worrying all night that M wasn't going to wake up or that her fever was going to get to scary levels. You know I have had my share of sick toddler already and all I can say is I'm just glad I don't have a baby anymore! I really think I would take sick toddler over sick newborn/infant.
Than again, I get to send her to daycare and get a break while you don't.

Yeah I worried more when he was a baby but I am more exhausted dealing with him as a sick toddler. And at lest sick babies are content to be held! Ugh I wish I could go to work today!

The tantrums are the worst. Nothing will make them happy. Does mommy have a sippy cup of an adult beverage to help her?

The hardest part for me is dealing with the stuffy nose, long gone are the days of the nose frieda, unfortunately.

@winniebee: I'm so sorry! I hope your little guy feels better soon . . . it is just so draining (you're worried, but also exhausted and frustrated because nothing works!).

When LO is sick, i am able to be more zen through her tantrums...maybe because i know she's in pain? I do agree that sick babies are easier to deal with! You can just hold them all day!

@Mrs Green Grass: he's definitely better hasn't had a fever in 24 hrs but still has a nasty cold and is wicked temperamental! And won't play alone!

@winniebee: I so so feel your pain. Mine has been slightly under the weather and he has also been tempermental. I wish I could offer more than a hug.
