Michael's has a line of flexible silicone necklaces and bracelets for Easter. They are 4.99 for a necklace and 2.99 for a bracelet. They are adorable and a perfect chewbead replacement! I'll post a pic later but I wanted to share this because I figured they wouldn't be available for long. They are on the endcap in the kids section. I was so excited to find mine!!

@Mrs. Sketchbook: So, I know it's been a week or two, but I stopped my Michael's to see if I might still be able to find these, and sure enough - they still had them! I wouldn't have been able to go for a $35 one, but for $5? Sold! Many thanks for the heads up!
FYI, if anyone's still interested, my store had them in turquoise, lime and hot pink, and they'd moved them to the middle of the aisles with an Easter display. There were also shorter necklaces with round beads in royal blue and purple.

@rattles: my Michael's didn't have them. Apparently there are different "grades" of stores. Mine is a "D" store so they don't stock as much stuff. The store about 10 miles away has them, though. I'll have to stop in this weekend.

@Mrs. Sketchbook: @rattles: found 'em! I didn't look in the kids section at the other store I was in. I got them from an end cap (like Sketchbook said) in the kids section.
I got a purple necklace with circle beads. My store had yellow, purple and blue circle beads and teal, pink and ...one other color...of the flat beads. They also had the circle bracelets!

@HabesBabe: I got the real Chewbeads and have no issues with them around my hair (I read some complaints about that, but went for it anyway). I totally want more, and am thrilled to see this cost effective choice!

Thanks so much. So I went to Michaels a week or so ago and looked all over. Couldn't find any. Then I was there again today looking for other stuff and I found one of the Oval ones left. YAY! So here in Canada they are regular price $8. They weren't on clearance, but today they had a 50% off coupon and I still had $1 left on a gift card so it was quite the successful shopping trip today. Poor little girl is teething so bad today it was perfect day to find them. She was trying to grab them already out of my hands at the store and started crying at the till. I will have to get on it to wash them and make that necklace! Thanks so much!

@E_wray: Glad you found some! I found that the elastic broke very easily, so I re-strung it with some thin (1/4") ribbon and knotted in between each bead- exactly how my real deal $$$ Chewbeads were strung.

I ended up buying some that I never wore. Got purple round beaded necklace and a blue/green round beaded bracelet. I'll mail them to whomever asks me first
ETA: the necklace may be bright blue. Can't remember now, and they're not in front of me.

@delight: I got the big oval ones, and I restrung them on some satin ribbon with knots in between each one.
I definitely would recommend restringing them, especially the small round beads. The elastic they come on seems really weak to me.

@78h2o: When I recently went to the store they were located somewhere different but close by. In my local store they had it by the kids stuff. But in the center aisle. It was by the summer stuff like bubbles, water things etc. They had a whole bin full of them.

@Mkmoro311: I don't think they are, but if you need some mommybeads.com has some great ones that are, and you can buy individual beads to make your own necklace.
