Does anyone have suggestions for a single serving tea maker? I want something cheap (machine and tea packs) and that I would keep at work to make tea. I don't drink coffee so I have no idea where to begin?

that might be difficult to find, since it's pretty easy to make tea without a machine.
when i used to drink tea at the office, i'd just steep loose leaves in a mesh tea infuser. i guess you could also do the same with pre-filled tea bags.

You can just get a single serve Keurig. They make k-cups with all kinds of tea flavors.

I would just get an electric kettle (they can be found pretty cheap) and teabags!

I don't necessarily need a "machine" I guess.
My two biggest frustrations with tea at work is that there is no hot water easily available and if I do get some its small amounts (I drink a lot of tea).
Any idea how quickly electric tea kettles heat up?

@Thehistoryofus: I have an electric kettle at home and it's really fast! Depending on how much water you are heating up and how hot you want it (mine has several tea settings and boil).. Just a few minutes!

My electric kettle takes about 2 minutes and cost about 15 bucks. It turns itself off when done boling.

the keurig machine at my office had an option to dispense just hot water. our older coffee makers had a hot water spigot too.
no one else at your work drinks tea? if enough of you want hot water, the company should pay for the electric kettle, or whatever other option works.

@softcream: They do have a hot water dispenser but its just in the cafeteria (I'm on the 11th floor) or I can heat in a microwave that takes forever.
@travelingbrit: Do you know what brand? I see some on Amazon that are up to $100. I want something cheap but want to make sure it looks nice and is quality.

We use an electric kettle. It's pretty fast, it depends how much water you put in it but when I make a whole pot o tea its a couple min.

If you just need hot water, a keurig does dispense water, but what about a hotshot? I'm sure it's cheaper. Unless you want the option for k cups

@Thehistoryofus: Mine is a Hamilton Beach - This model: http://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beach-Stainless-Ensemble-Electric/dp/B004ZG8Q88/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1353945983&sr=8-2&keywords=red+electric+kettle
I bought it perhaps 2 or 3 years ago, so there's probably a newer version but I love it.
I think I got it on sale at Target or Macy's or somewhere similar. The amazon price is higher than what I paid.
