Besides boots, what kind of shoes do you wear with your skinny jeans to keep your feet warm in the colder months?

I was wondering the same thing...I was toying with the idea of booties, but I have to try it on to decide.

I always wondered this, I really only wear boots or ankle boots in the winter but never knew what other footwear was warm enough. I need to be able to waer thick socks because i'm always cold!

I only ever wear skinny jeans with boots, no matter the weather. I don't like the way my legs/hips look in them otherwise.
But the same question works for bootcut-- I never know what to wear with them in the winter if I'm not wearing my winter snow boots (which, to be fair, I wear a LOT come January-March. Stupid Boston winters).

The only other option for me is tennis shoes if I'm dressed casually. Otherwise it's riding boots 95% of the time.

@Foodnerd81: I wear tennis shoes with my bootcut jeans, but that might not work out too well with all that snow you get. Ha!
@shinymama: I tried wearing tennis shoes with my skinny jeans and I think it looks odd. Maybe my tennis shoes are too chunky and I need more "street" shoes??? I occasionally wear my Sperry's with my skinney jeans, but in the winter, I like to wear socks to keep my feet warm. However, the exposed socks on top of my feet with the Sperry's is also a lil odd (to me). Maybe I'm just weird... lol

@Alivoo01: I wear Sperry's too, but only in warmer months because I wear them without socks. I find that for the tennis shoe look to work, they need to be funky {think bright colored running shoes} and always with ankle socks. Which defeats the purpose of winter use aaannnddd I'm no help.

oxfords if it's not too cold. if the jeans are long enough, you can't see the sock. it's not ideal, but...

@ShootingStar: Mine don't come up very far so that's why it looks a lil odd with white socks. I can't wear the ones where the tongue comes up further bc my feet are wide and they start rubbing - ouch! @Alivoo01: By "work" I meant pull off {not the place that signs my checks}. Oops. And I'm not very brave myself, so bright for me is a nice boring colored shoe, with a colorful accent. I have these.

I also wear my converse high tops with skinnies. They're more streamlined that most sneakers.
But yeah, mostly I wear various kinds of boots.

We have really cold winters so I only wear boots.
In the fall/spring when I want to wear socks, I'll wear TOMS (the cordones style), moccasins (similar to what @jesskas posted) and Converse. I also have a pair of ankle boots from Target that I can't seem to find a link for.

I wear big ugly boots with leggings to work sometimes to keep my feet warm and change into flats once I'm at the office.

I have soft booties (similar to @JessKas) that I wear with skinnies when it gets really cold. They're super comfy and cozy!
