Picked up a sleep sack in size M - my LO is at the end of the S spectrum and right at the beginning of sizing for M. I just unwrapped it and it is SO LONG ! Thinking I may need a S after all ? Were you surprised by how long sleep sacks are ?

ETA - I think what is really bothering me is how loose the neck is . I feel like it could easily get over his face ? I should probably buy the small if that is the case ??
