My 2 week old sleeps awesome in his swing during the day for naps. It actually puts him to sleep when he's fussy. DH suggested taking it into our room and letting him sleep in it at night instead of his pack and play or our bed.
A little background...we try and get him to sleep in his pack and play (fitted sheet and swaddled with a thin blanket) but he just doesn't like it. We can get him to sleep in it once out of 3 times we put him down at night after a wake up to nurse. Other times we have to put him in between us in our bed to get him to sleep.
I REALLY don't feel comfortable with him in our bed. DH and I both sleep worse and I'm paranoid about the blankets and pillows.
I don't know about the swing though. Part of me says "if it works, it works. Go to sleep" but I'm also finding conflicting information online whether or not it's safe to do so.
Advice or thoughts? Right now I'm leaning towards not doing it but I really don't like having LO in the bed with us and he only sleeps in his pack and play when he's too sleepy to realize where he's at. Lol
