For whatever reason, i had a very strong belief that by 4months old, babies should be sleeping through the night, and once they slept throug the night there would, of course, be a night here or there that they would wake up, but sleeping through would be the norm. I am curious...how often does this actually happen? It has NOT been our experience at all, and it has led to a lot of feelings of failure for me. The poll is simply yes/ no so i can get a clear picture, but feel free to add comments
I hate it when people are already starting to compare my 4 week old to someone they know. FIL recently said that his co-worker has a baby who is a few days younger than DS2. The baby is sleeping through the night and breastfed. Made me feel like something is wrong with my kids, but I know that every kid is different. Just hate it when people make comments as if I'm doing something wrong.
My mom swears that my sister and I completely STTN - with no regressions - by 6 weeks. My MIL swears that both of her kids STTN - with no regressions - as soon as they hit 12 pounds.
