OMG last night Cobi slept 11.5 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6:30pm-6am, ate and then asleep until a little after 8. It was so glorious!!! (even though I didn't sleep that long... thanks to DH :P)
I am soo excited. I never thought it would happen. I know not to expect it again but I'm hopeful!
when did your baby start actually sleeping thru the night? (Cobi is 6 mos)

Nice! I hope it sticks! LO would tease us with a night here or there but it didn't happen for good until he was a year

Yay!! Hope your LO continues sleeping through the night. My LO started a little after a year, and I have been enjoying uninterrupted sleep for the last couple of months. It's a great feeling.

DH kept me up late, so although I don't feel great about myself getting a lot of sleep (though it was 6 consecutive hours which was awesome), I feel GREAT about HIM sleeping that long!!
@Mrs. Yoyo: yeah, Cobi did that with his 8 hour stretches. Wasn't until this month he's started sleeping 8 hours consistently.

Awesome!!! Mine is still waking up once to eat in the middle of the night (goes down at 7PM, up at 7AM with a feeding around 4AM). Can't wait 'till she does a 12-hour stretch!!!

@MungBean: that's what Cobi's regular schedule is, which is a huge improvement from last month so I'm not complaining about one night feeding!! Last night I put him to bed at 6:30 instead of 7... I'd read in Healthy Sleep Habits that can make a big difference. I wonder if that was it??

DS (5 months) is just now getting to regular 5 hour stretches at night, and it feels like a major victory, lol!

Update: He slept another 11.5 hour night last night, and then an additional 2.5 hours!!! Insane... I am loving it... now if only I can condition myself to be in bed by 10pm, I could get 8 consecutive hours

Woohoo!!!!!!! Lo started sleeping through the night around 6 months too. At 9 months she figured out how to crawl out of her bed and over to our room.. -.-
We have about 5-6 months of her waking 1-3x a night until I dried up at 15 months.
She's been sleeping through the night again since!

Woo! That's AWESOME!
C started at 2 months and slept 11-12 hours for a month. At 3 months, she regressed and started waking up once again and now she's back to sleeping 11 hours again for the past week.

Quick qs... Is he on solids? My kids r now 5 mos and won't be starting solids until 6 mos and they get up twice for feeding. I can't foresee them stopping in a month! =(
Do u feed them what they need for the day before so they don't need to wake up?

@plantains: It totally did... it was sooo hard at first but I'm glad I did it. Now he hardly ever cries, he just fusses. It's not even comparable to what we went thru the first week and a half.
@tequiero21: hmmm I didn't even think of that... I wonder if starting solids does have something to do with it?? He is just over 6 mos, and we started solids at 5 months (they took a month to kick in if that's the case!! ;))

Yay! Hope he keeps it up. My LO didn't stop waking for night feedings until about 9/10 months. I didn't sleep train with her though. I sleep trained my older one at 6.5 months and started sleeping through after that.
