My dog has recently started snoring. I keep hoping it'll go away by itself but it hasn't. Sometimes it gets really loud! She is a bit overweight but not enough where I think it will cause breathing problems. She's woken me up a few times with her snoring!
Anyone gone through this before? Do they sell breath rite strips for dogs?? LOL

My cat snores! She sleeps under our bed and sometimes wakes me up, haha

My dog snores very loudly, but he's a pug, so it comes with the breed, haha.

Our littler dog snores super loud. Louder than DH, and that's saying something, especially for a 10lb dog. 
I just jostle his crate when he does it at night, basically the same as I do DH.

@Shutterbug: yeah, I was reading that it's common with short /no snout dogs. Mine has a long snout!

@rachiecakes: our cat snores too! Sonetimes DH, LO and the cat will all be snoring away in our bed....keeping me awake!
I transported the sweetest male pit bull today and he stretched out across my lap and the passenger seat and snored our entire ride!

My one dog snores and I wake her up if its bothering me. Its only when she is sleeping in her cage for some reason, sometimes if I bother her too much she moves to the bathroom and is fine.

This is the reason that my Boston Terrier doesn't sleep in our room anymore. Sleep is precious around here and I just barely tolerate DH's snoring

@mediagirl: I had to kick her out during my last pregnancy. I was up every 5 minutes to pee and I just couldn't take the snoring and the farting in the bed anymore. My DH is giving me an endless guilt trip about it but I'm holding strong. She used to be my baby

@MrsF: when our daughter was born, we still had our other boston who had potty issues so we couldn't kick her out. I kick our remaining girl out when she gets really annoying. Ugh. The farting!!!!

@MrsF: yeah I was going to say there is no way we could kick her out. Even if I got DH to agree she would just whine all night outside our door.

@mediagirl: @regberadaisy: Maybe she'll make her way back in once we're all sleeping through the night again. At this point I just refuse to get up for anything other than feeding a baby.

Our pug was fine as a puppy but as he's gotten older his snoring is terrible at times! Sometimes he's not even sleeping but just lying down lol. I'm so glad he doesn't sleep in our room now!
