I posted about wanting to take LO to an indoor water park at 7months... I am still not decided. I just wondered what everyone thought was the ideal age to take their LO. I know she wont be walking or old enough to really enjoy everything, but for some reason I just see her having a good time since she loves water. I also worry if the amount of chlorine will bother here.

I would take LO to an indoor pool after 6 months. But I wouldn't go to an actual water park (indoor or outdoor) until much older. Probably 5 or 6 years old.

We started DS in swim lessons just after 6 months... but an actual water park I wouldn't take him to until he was 12 months old.

I think you would have more fun in a regular indoor pool as opposed to a waterpark. We did swim lessons starting at 6 months and waterparks at 2. Just be sure to rinse off right away and the chlorine shouldn't be a problem:)

I think I would take her at anytime but wouldn't expect too much until she could walk and move around more. So maybe at 12 months or so.

They basically have a regular pool and then other water attractions like lazy pools, slides, wave pool

Water Parks are so expensive I would want baby and me to be able to enjoy it. If it was more of an indoor water place with pools and a splash zone, that would be different. We took him to a water park at 14 months old and he loved it.

Whenever! If I had friends or family who was going I would take LO regardless of her age, and just keep in mind that our options were limited. Now that she is older, I think it would be fun to float around in a lazy river with her on my lap. I think 7I or 8I months would be ideal though.

Probably when she can walk well - I think after 18 months would be ideal.

We bought an annual family pass to an outdoor waterpark for our 1 year old since it's practically in our backyard. We've used it once a month. She loves the water but we can only stay 20 minutes tops because her lips turn purple, she's so cold. And the showers are freezing too.
