I went to pump this morning and discovered I had my pump but no bottles! I had an opened Deer Park water bottle, so I opened it, poured out the water and pumped into it. Can I give this milk to my baby? I always sanitize new bottles before pumping into them, but it seems a shame to dump today's pumped milk.

I forgot the lids to my bottles one day and poured my pumped milk into a water bottle (suggestion by the hive!). I think it's totally okay to give your LO the pumped milk! I did and DS was fine!

I've done that, and used the milk. I admit that one time I even used my coffee travel mug (washed first!). Hey, it's insulated.

I would absolutely use it! I also keep a stash of freezer bags with my pump in case this happens (and because I pump directly into bags on Fridays...).

I rarely sanitze my bottles to begin with...so I would use it.
They're crazy expensive, but I really like to use the medela bags that attach to the pump. Way easier!
