DD is almost 15 months and I think it's been over 2 weeks since she's nursed. I offered my breast last night just to see if she wanted to nurse, and she had no interest at all. She had slowed WAY down from 12 months on and basically I guess we're done. Such a funny feeling to not be a nursing mama anymore, but also super 'free' feeling!

I felt the same way! It's bittersweet, right?
I loved getting to experience that with DS but when he was done, it did feel freeing as well. I felt like I was me again! (and as a bonus, lost more weight afterwards)

I felt the same way too. It was very freeing to not have to pump everyday at work. LO still looks at my boobs sometimes, but not with a wide eyed and open mouth.

@rachiecakes: It is exactly that, bitter sweet.
@regberadaisy: she just slowed down on the length of each session and frequency of asking. It got to the point that she would only nurse for a few minutes if that. And I had to force her to sit still to latch.

I was expecting it to be a 'thing' but I just sort of realised that we've stopped. I didn't make an effort to stop her and she didn't make a fuss about it. It just kind of happened. I don't even know exactly what day she last nursed.
