I just wrote a long email to our future homecare provider that I have literally been putting off sending for 3 weeks because I just don't want to face the fact that my maternity leave is coming to a close. Hardest email to send ever. Now I'm pouring over schedules and calendars to see if we can swing only having her in daycare 4 days a week as opposed to 5. Does anyone know how to freeze time?!

I'm sorry dear. I've gone through that twice already and will in the summer with my third.
It does get easier. I know that doesn't exactly help now but trust me it does get better.

@Pumpkinspice: thanks. It does help hearing other mama's say things like that. I know people do it every day, and I know I'm lucky I had all this time with her, but it doesn't make it any easier to give her to someone else all day long, know what I mean? lol!

@prettylizy: Oh I totally understand. I had to send my second DD to daycare at only 7 weeks old. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.

Its hard. I dont think you ever really feel ready for daycare, but once you get started, you adjust to it gradually.

@Mrsbells: haha, I'm ready! I've been SAHing w DD for 2yrs, and now we're looking into putting her in somewhere for a few days a week.
It must be so hard to put younger babies in someone else's care. I both sympathize and envy you working moms!
