I always see these great giveaways on Instagram and Facebook, but a lot of them require you to repost or follow all of them to enter. I would love to enter and sometimes I do, but sometimes it feels like it would be spammy to my friends and followers (I maintain social media for personal and professional networking). I was thinking about setting up a separate account to follow these retail accounts I love (but don't want to fill up my feed) and then I can post giveaways from there so as not to clog my feed.
Do you have a separate social media account for giveaways? Am I the only one that get glossy-eyed at giveaway posts?
you for thinking of other people and not wanting to spam them! i HATE seeing that crap in my newsfeed. tagging other people in it makes it 20million times worse. i have an unreasonable amount of rage towards BS businesses that have found my account via others' accounts. i made an account on FB for my cat once because my cousin was in some contest for her business and she really needed votes so she asked us all to make extra accounts to vote with, i use that for coupons and crap i don't want other people to have to see. i don't do IG spam stuff, just fb shares for coupons or amazon codes.
