We just purchased a Sodastream, and we love it. We mostly just drink sparkling water from it, but I was wondering if anyone had tried a lot of the Sodastream syrups that they sell in the stores. Which ones are good? We have the MyWater Essence flavors, but haven't really tried much else.

I've tried almost all of the soda flavors - mostly diet. I don't like the Mountain Dew - it tastes fake. The others are pretty good. I only mix half a cap-full in too. The Crystal Light and other juice ones (I can't remember the name now - oy) are good too!

I usually use fruit juices and mix it with the sparking water. My favorite so far has been honeydew with sparkling water.

If you want someone who tried something not healthy
the orange soda is fun on occasion. It's about like you remember from childhood...super orangey and sugary, but you can tailor it according to how much syrup you add. I'm not a big cola drinker, though, so others would have to chime in!

I also like the orange but the diet orange. And I only use half of the cap since it's otherwise too sweet. However, usually I just mix it with some fruit or just plain. I like adding a splash of grapefruit juice or some lemonade.
