Congrats! I'm a NICU nurse so I know the rollercoaster of emotions you will you through well. Remember to take care of yourself. If possible, pump every 3 hours (day and night), and do lots of skin-to-skin with your baby. It will be very beneficial for both you and babe.

@QBbride: Thanks! I started pumping this afternoon and will continue every 3 hours. The weirdest thing right now is figuring out "how" to visit him since we can't do much except look at him or hold his hand right now. But we're working on making a routine so that it can become a little more normal.

@Mrs Green Grass: I used to bring books and still read to our LO while he was in his isolette. I'd also just go and talk to him about my day, etc. Do they let you bring in personal items for his isolette? I got a tiny bear and they put it in a plastic bag and hung it from his isolette.
