Very odd! And when they left Beyoncé got in the car w her sister and not her hubby! So curious.

I can't lie - I'm fascinated by this video. What makes it so interesting to me was that no one seemed shocked that she was attacking him - like except for Solange, everyone was pretty calm about it (especially Beyonce, who acted like she wasn't seeing anything).

I am fascinated by this, especially because Beyonce looks totally unfazed.

I don't know why but Beyoncé is one of those celebrities that I don't think is actually living a "normal" life. I really think there is a lot of bizarre crap going on there.

@CupQuakeWalk: Bey dropped a ring on the red carpet and Jay Z picked it up and faked like he was proposing again. It looked like a sweet, loving gesture. But who knows, I have no idea what celebrity life is like.

@mrsjazz: my theory is that Jay Z promised Solange he'd find a new sponsor for her to join the Illuminati (you can't nominate family/in-laws), but then Gwyneth got divorced and lost her spot on the nominating committee. So Jay Z needs to find a new sponsor but hasn't yet, so Solange threw down.

@MamaMoose: It's so bizarre to me that Bey just stood there like nothing was happening. Seems like if Solange was being crazy she would've gotten up in her face and yelled back.

Maybe Jay did something wrong and Bey was on Solange's side which is why she didn't intervene and got in the same car as Solange. If Bey thought Solange was wrong, she would have stuck up for Jay/tried to stop her sister?

@Mrs. Bee: I think this is the reason so many people have been obsessed with this story since it broke: because they are such a private couple.

It's obvious this was a private matter that they wanted to keep private the way all of them just walked out of the elevator and tried to act as normal as possible.

@Madison43: In the video you can see Bey adjusting her dress during the altercation. At least in the extended video it looks as if she is trying to get between them and talking to Jay.

I wonder if this trending topic on Twitter will beat the number of tweets Bey got during the Super Bowl. For such a well-crafted public image by this power couple, they must be pissed at whoever leaked this video.

@yoursilverlining: So many people are talking about Solange as finding fame through her sister...but I know lots of people who are *gasp* actually fans of Solange. I like Beyonce but I have never purchased her music and I actually own Solange's album, the one that brought her the most success. Yeah, she's no Beyonce, but she's written some of Beyonce's songs and songs for other artists, including herself.

It sucks that THIS is the way that more people will know who she is, but she brought that on herself. I definitely don't think she leaked the video, I think it was someone looking for some money, I wonder how much TMZ paid for it. Looks like someone took a camera phone video of security footage.

I am commenting way too much on this thread. Ugh, I feel like a reject with no life now.

I'm going to say it was a don't feed the troll situation. I think Solange wanted a reaction out of both of them and they didn't want to give her exactly what she wanted which probably only pissed her off even more. The video is crazy though! It's interesting to see something so personal from a couple that is so private and tightly protects their public image.

@Leialou: Nice find. I had been meaning to check out Blind Gossip today. Hmmmmm. This is kind of surprising! I hope it's not true, though Blind Gossip has had a lot of their stuff solved.

Beyonce is a smart cookie, and so is Jay Z for that matter. They are good at keeping things private for a reason. They were probably very aware that there were cameras in the elevator, which to me would explain why B just kinda stood there.
