Did someone besides yourself/SO potty train your LO?
DH and I are going on a trip in November, my mom (and dad I guess lol) are watching the girls. We were texting about things I need to remember to send and she said potty seat and undies for both girls. I told her there was no way I was going to have my youngest (2.5) trained by then. She said she was going to do it...uuuhh ok then? Lol go for it! I was surprised but I guess if she wants to that's cool with me.

I did. I wish daycare would have, they see my kid way more than I do since I work FT. It wasn't horrible, but I have a few years before I have to do it again.

DH did. She had been really resistant to the idea, constantly telling us how much she loved diapers and didn't like undies, so even though she was physically ready I hadn't been pushing it. But she was between daycares for a couple weeks and home with DH, and he said he was going to try. I was like, "uhhh...good luck with that..." but it worked out really well.

We haven't done it yet but apparently my Nana potty trained me. The more stories my mom casually drops the more it sounds like my Nanas did all the work, apparently they sleep trained me as well!

I think preschool trained DD2? They just told me to send her in underwear one day and there were no accidents! I have no idea what happened there, lol.

Considering my daughter is in a battle of wills with me about potty training, I would LOOOOOOOOVE it if someone else would give it a try lol.

My mom offered to potty train DS but there wasn't enough time so we turned her down. Supposedly my parents did nothing to potty train my brother, the daycare nuns did it, lol.

My DD has been potty training for about 1.5 weeks so far. Daycare has us leave her naked (or in underwear but we did naked) all weekend and take her every 20 min. So that weekend we just stayed in the house (either my husband or me with her). And then send her in underwear on Monday and then they do the same thing (with lots of changes). We just waited until she was ready though (asking to use the potty) which was around 2.5. So far she doesn't have many pee accidents (maybe just at naptime) but she's afraid to poop (after doing it successfully the second time) so she's still going in her underwear.

Daycare is taking the lead on it and I'm a-ok with that! She just moved to the 3's class and most kids are potty trained so the peer pressure is helping, I think.

My mom is watching LO in a few weeks and offered to try... hey, if she wants to stay indoors for days straight and give it a try, I'm fine with that!!

Daycare started on a Monday and had her trained by Friday! It was awesome.

I wish someone else would! Seriously contemplated sending her back to daycare so they could do it for me. But, alas we have free inlaw care, so I guess it's on me. I'm not worrying until she turns 3.
