I played classical piano for 20 years, and even competed in piano competitions! But I never really enjoyed it; I did it mostly because it made my mom so happy. I also felt like if I quit, then I would be letting everyone down (my mom, my piano teacher, etc.).

I finally quit when I went to college, but then I found myself missing the feeling of accomplishment from being good at something. So believe it or not, I took it up again on my own accord! Then I didn't want to let down my piano teacher, and ended up playing for another 4 years.

I would like to take up jazz piano at some point; maybe I can transfer some of those ol' piano chops over? Although I sat down at the piano the other day and was awful, so maybe not.

What's something you good at, but don't really enjoy? (Beside parenting, haha!)
