I've never even heard of it until HB, but this was secretly my one "I HAVE TO HAVE IT" registry item. LOL.
We randomly got a gift in the mail from one of my out of state co-workers! IT WAS THE SOPHIE!!!! (and a boppy cover).

haha aww!! I really wanted one too but couldn't justify paying the $$ for a small piece of rubber lol I didn't get one either.

Prettybaby loves her Sophie like woah. When I squeek it at her before I hand it to her, she just lights right up and grins super big. It's awesome to keep her enterainted, she could gnaw on it for hours

She loves it! She gets so excited when she hears the squeak. Also, she seems to really like to chew specifically on Sophie's face so it looks like they are kissing 
It always makes me laugh.

i'm really hoping to get one from our shower in november. i know it will drive my pup crazy though... he loves squeaky toys, and he freaks out if he can't get to a toy that he wants.

She wasn't too interested in the beginning but now she does love it. Not sure if really more than her other toys though. I have to say it's the one toy our dog keeps trying to get at because of the squeaker!

Registered for 1, got 3!!! So one is here and the other two are at grandparents. He likes sophies brother the one that looks like toadstools better. He mostly just pokes himself in the eye with Sophie. But he's only 4.5 months.

Both my kids were very "meh" about Sophie despite my best efforts. Maybe they didn't like the rubbery taste.

I didn't register for it but was happy when we got it as a gift, then sad that LO has really never been interested. Maybe Baby Brother will enjoy it...

We had two, I also "had to have it." My son absolutely hated it though, he never really got into chomping on it. Now we use it when we play animals.

C has had one since 3 months old and she LOVES her. I swore I wouldn't spend that much $$$ on something like that but we were in a baby store and she was having a teething fit and I bought it in a moment of weakness. I so dont regret it.

If DD doesn't like the chicken wing teether I bought her, I'm getting a Sophie. The only reason why I didn't get it in the first place was because I'd have to buy it online and I'd read about fakes sold on Amazon (3rd party vendors).

My LO only started to be interested in Sophie at around 5 months. But now when I give him a choice between Sophie and another toy, he always goes for Sophie.

Our 10 month old loves it- and has loved it for 4-5 months so far. She has both the little and small sophie. She also doesn't have any teeth yet!

DD likes it just fine, but for us it's not quite worth the hype. She loves putting it in her mouth right now (she's 6 months old), but she also loves putting just about anything in her mouth. Sophie doesn't seem to be anything particularly special to her. Just another chew toy!
