Which do you prefer or order when given the choice? This is tough because I love both so much, but I love soups more.
It reminds me of a funny story about this esl student who was asked, "Soup or salad" at a restaurant. And he said, "No super salad, just regular salad please." Ha!

If we're eating out, I normally get salad and the hubby gets soup.

I think it depends on the soup! If they have French Onion then I will always get soup! if not, I will normally just get a salad

Depends where I am. If I'm at olive garden then I ALWAYS get the salad, but at other places I prefer their soups

I looove soup and will get that most of the time. But at my favorite restaurant the main dish is a really thick spicy shrimp chowder, so in that case I get salad.

Salad. Restaurant soups always have so much sodium so I never eat soups when I am out!
