I just defrosted some frozen milk from about 10 weeks ago and it smelled really bad--sour and just yucky. What could cause this? As far as I know I froze it correctly...I also defrosted milk from about a month ago and it didn't smell really bad but had a very very faint sour smell. Does that mean it's not safe for LO?

Also, could this be excess lipase? If so, can anyone tell me about the scaling and storing process? how annoying is it?
