I prefer to shop alone. Even if I go with someone, I like to speak out because everyone has different tastes and I just want to look for what I need, not what they need. Selfish much? 
Well, I also shop fast: I need this, this, this. Try on. Good. Go.

I shop fast too. The only people I can shop with besides alone are my mom or DH. I can NOT shop with my MIL, she can spend 2 hours or more in one store (I'm not talking about a department store, I'm talking about Gap), it kills me....

Alone. If its for something special I might want help though. Like my wedding dress, which I found very fast even with 3 people helping. And they were all so supportive, it wasn't anything like I imagined it to be, I was dreading it!

I'm a better shopper alone, but sometimes it's nice when DH joins me or sometimes I don't mind if my mom shops with me. I do 90% of my shopping alone, and that's how I like it:)

I hate going shopping with other people because I always feel rushed. I am always afraid that they're waiting for me or getting irritated (I am a slow shopper) so I just get stressed out and don't buy anything. When I go shopping alone I can go ALL day......for like 8 hours or more! -

I like to go alone if I'm buying real every day clothes. I think it's just easier because a lot of times my friends will suggest things that just don't work for my body. I can look at a shirt and think, "my boobs will NOT work in that" or "that inseam is too short" without trying it on. They don't know my body well enough so they'll insist I try on something that looks ridiculous.
I like to go with friends if it's just a fun outing and I'm not really looking for something in particular and we're just goofing off. And I like to shop with family for special events. Sometimes my mom picks out things I would never consider but they end up looking really good.

Alone! I hate being rushed and I feel like I am better able to police how much I am spending if I'm by myself too. I always end up spending more with friends.

I like to shop alone, because I don't like friends slowing me down. I'm a very quick and efficient shopper.. it's like a sport to me. Like Carrie Bradshaw, "shopping is my cardio." I actually do best with Wagon Sr. with me, because he is so used to my shopping style, so he not only helps me lug things around, but he helps me in my indecisive times in the dressing room (or choosing colors, etc). He knows what I will wear and what I won't, and he knows what a good value is. i.e. he will push me to buy a more expensive black blazer than a cheap, floral cardigan because he knows I'll wear it more often and for longer.
He's not metrosexual in any way shape or form but he's a GREAT shopping buddy. Probably because he has almost 10 years of experience shopping with me, for me.

I like to shop alone most of the time. There are some days when I just want my husband to come along. We shop pretty good together.

I prefer to go alone usually. I'm not a big shopper, so I like to get in, get what I want, and get out. Sometimes I get the urge to have an all out shopping day, in that case I like to go with my sister or mom. Never both though. Good Lord. It becomes torture then!

Usually alone because I'm pretty straight forward with my taste (aka boring) so I grab what I like/need, try it on, and leave. I also don't care much for shopping so I like it when the hubby goes with me because he'll do the shopping for me. He usually picks out really cute stuff that I normally wouldn't pick on my own!
I can't stand shopping with my mom - she can spend HOURS in ONE store. I can shop the whole mall by the time she leaves that store. (>_<)

Alone! I even went wedding dress shopping alone for the most part, after the big trip to Kleinfeld with my bridesmaids. It was glorious!

I prefer to shop with either my mom (she is the best to shop with) or my DH. I like shopping with my girlfriends if it's just us. Add in kids and you have potential for meltdowns. LOL

Alone! I don't like others slowing me down! If I'm shopping for something like a gift for a friend and i have no idea what to get, then i wouldnt mind taking a friend along with me for advice and suggestiona on what to get. But if I'm shopping for myself I definitely like shopping alone.

I love shopping alone, always have. I don't like going with other people because they seem to take forever and go into stores I do not care for. I am somewhat of a fast shopper, get in and get out.

I prefer going shopping alone too, although I don't mind shopping with a friend when they are looking for stuff but it gets weird when I have no interest in getting anything. Often times I will try on dozens of things and not pick any of them which drives other people crazy!

Dpeends on the person, if it's DH then alone, he's a horrible shopper, I like going with my mom she's always very honest with me when trying on clothes.

Definitely alone - I am one of those marathon shoppers. I can go all day long. Everyone else I bring along with me gets bored/tired way earlier than I do. They also make me feel rushed and I wind up buying something that isn't right or I don't end up getting what I need because I give up from the pressure.
Except for my MIL. She has so much energy and can go and go for an apparently endless amount of time. She can totally out-do me.

Another vote for alone here too. I always feel guilty or concerned about others when I shop in a group. When I'm buy myself I have a much more enjoyable time because there is less stress. I miss shopping so much! lol. I just haven't had the energy and can't wait for some post-baby retail therapy!

Either alone or with my mom. My mom and I have the same taste in clothing, furniture, shoes and make-up even if we have a 30 year age gap haha.
I hate going with friends! I don't like wasting time getting food or going into stores that I don't care for. I use to love going with a few friends and trying on clothes we couldn't afford but now that just feels like a waste of a good shopping trip.

I like to shop alone. I feel pressure to hurry up when I'm with others. Sometimes I'm in and out, others I like to browse around.

Alone if it's for clothes. I am also selfish much, as I don't want others to take me off MY path.
But I like to shop for house stuff or non-clothes stuff with DH. It's actually fun to go to Home Depot or Lowes with him and pick out stuff for the the lawn or a project:) And on a rare occasion, he'll tell me he wants to take me shopping to pick out something nice, like a handbag, and then he's REALLY fun to shop with!

Absolutely alone! I went to Vegas with a couple of friends and spent majority of my shopping time waiting for others. I didnt get as much done as I would have liked. Although if a friend asks me to go shopping I dont know how to tell them that I would rather go alone!

It depends on the person. I can only shop for a few hours before I get grumpy. If the friend, just wants to tag along and isn't a shop-a-holic then it's fine. I do like having a companion, though.

I like shopping with my mom because it's nice to have someone else's opinion, especially a mom's and we have similar shopping styles. We can both go in and scope out a store and decide if it's worth a closer look. Hate shopping with anyone else!

I shop with my mom. Neither her or I can make up our mind about anything, so we need to consult each other. Plus we are really good at picking things out for each other that we normally wouldn't pick out for ourselves, but are perfect! We are an amazing shopping team. We even plan yearly shopping trips at the end of each summer, where all we do is go shopping all day, eat good food, and hang out in a nice hotel all weekend!

I always worry about the other person if I shop with someone. I worry they're bored, or want to look at something else. It's awkward so I generally avoid it unless it my husband, mom, sister or best friend. Any of them I shop with consistently.
