Oh I forgot, the story that touched me the most was the one where Laura Linney's relationship with her mentally ill brother ruined her budding relationship with her co-worker. It felt like the most real story to me.

When Laura Linney is slow dancing with Karl to Norah Jones...And he plays with her hair and she smiles. AH! My heart just explodes! That couple just breaks my heart because while Laura Linney (Sarah, I think is her name in the movie) wants to be with Karl, her brother comes first in her life and she sacrifices love for him. I'm getting teary-eyed just typing it out! Someone pass me a tissue.

@mediagirl: i think it's one of those movies that just gets better and better every time you watch it. there are a lot of characters and stories to follow for a short movie, so maybe that's why it's hard to get into it at first? i love the movie the more I watch it though!

and the young bachelor who wants to go to.... WISCONSIN! haha, i guess those were the funny storylines
I too loved Emma's storyline because it was the most realistic portrayal. I think she found enough love and strength in her heart to forgive him (or work on forgiving him)... that's my interpretation.
At first I didn't like colin firth's story... a bit too dreamy. but then i grew to love it and it's now my fave for being so dreamy
i'm also fond of keira knightly's story. i have a crush on andrew lincoln...

Colin Firth's is my favorite, especially at the end when he actually goes to Portugal. Which reminds me that I haven't watched Love Actually this year yet! It's the best holiday movie!

What was Colin's story line? I haven't seen that movie in forever. I did love the story of Emma and Alan.
The story between Kiera seemed I don't know...fake? Like she is all happy and married and never even gives the best friend a side glance. Then all of a sudden she watches the wedding video of just her and she goes to kiss him? Blah.
Liam's step son's story was super sweet. I just love that kid as an actor.
The dude who went to Wisconsin is hilarious! Of all the places in the states to visit, he wants to party in Wisconsin!

@Miss Adia: I guess it shouldn't really be thought of Kiera's story. It's really Andrew Lincoln's... the whole, "I'm in love with someone I can't have" peril... His way of telling her with the cue cards was just closure. Loved the one that said, "To me, you're perfect."

No one else loves the couple that met on the movie set? I LOVE THEM. But as far as the more fleshed out (no pun intended) storylines, Hugh + Natalie FTW.

The Mark & Juliette story is my favorite (even though they didn't end up together, I still rooted for them!), and is how my husband proposed to me!
He re-filmed that scene then had it edited into the movie so that it came on when we were watching it one night. It was the best I'll have to try to find a way to link to it - youtube shut it down.
