Did you use a splat mat when you started solids? Or did you just mop the floor once you were done feeding. which splat mat did you use? Would you recommend it?

I liked its size and that I could pick it up and dump crumbs into the trash, but I also felt that at times, it was just in the way and she got so messy that food would spill around it anyway, so it was just another thing to clean and deal with... But all in all, I would recommend this mat if someone was set on getting one!
I previously used a Baby Einstein one with DD 1 and I liked that the Jeep one was just a clear plastic, keeping it simple without any cartoons or logos.
