I'm joining! I am a bit cynical these days mostly due to my body not really regulating or giving me a decent LP.
CD: 5
Cycle # 6
Ovulation/ POAS: I should ovulate somewhere between May 26-28 hopefully. I will POAS on my 37th birthday which is June 8! I may go sooner because frankly I haven't made it to an LP that long. It would be really good news for me if I do make it there without AF even if I am not pregnant. If my LP is less than 10 days including spotting I will be pissed off this month!

Good luck! We were NTNP this month, AF is due in 7 days so we will see if anything happened. Otherwise May 28th I should start ovulating again for official TTC.
Cycle day: 6
Cycle #: 1
Ovulation & POAS dates: May 28- 31 (weird cycles) & POAS would be June 15ish
Baby #: 2
Your game plan this month: EOD after my next AF and enjoy it. I'm not charting or using OPTs, I just want to enjoy it the first couple months. I have IP app on my phone that helps me know rough dates on when stuff is happening, otherwise I'll just be taking cues from my body.

Looks like I'm joining! Hopefully month 11 of ttc will be lucky!
Cycle day: 1
Cycle #: Month 11
Ovulation & POAS dates: Ovulation - 3 June and POAS - 17 June (just guessing from info on my phone)
Baby #: 2
Your game plan this month: Keep using OPKs and try to have the same timing as last month. I have a specialist appointment on the 28 May to try to figure out why I'm having so many issues (bleeding related) which will hopefully help!

Well our plan of BD EOD is not holding up thus far... end of CD 11 and we still haven't DTD this cycle. DH has been working long hours and has been coming home late and tired. I asked tonight if he'll be sleepy when he gets home and he said, "Probably. But I might get a burst of energy! But probably not." I told him we're running out of time and he just said we have lots of time. All this after yesterday when I said that we're obviously not doing something right and he said we just need to DTD more... Sigh.

@HellOnHeels: cd11 is still pretty early for most. Hopefully you can get things underway tomorrow. Can you wake him
Up tomorrow mornin with some lovin?
clementine / 899 posts
@MrsMccarthy: Very true. I can certainly try. I'm normally not a morning person and he'll probably be up and gone before 630 tomorrow. Then again, I can just go back to sleep.

Okay, now is officially cycle day one. Why does this feel especially awful???

@intotheocean: I'm so sorry. It gets so hard when you've been at it a while and come up empty. I hope that June is our month my dear. Go have some chocolate or wine and be good to yourself. Hugs.

@intotheocean: I'm so sorry. TTC is so frustrating. Keep your head up!!
Cycle day: 3
Cycle #: 2
Ovulation & POAS dates: May 30-June1? & POAS would be June 12
Baby #: 2
Your game plan this month: Lots more BDing. Accupuncture starting next week, B6 after I ovulate, and crossing lots of fingers.
This is our month ladies!!!!!

I believe O is about a week away for me + or - a few days. Let the BDing begin! EOD (or close to it) until temp shift!

Just waiting for AF to fully start so I can call today CD 1 and join you lovely ladies! Saw red when I wiped this morning, but nothing since!

I will be a cheerleader! Depending on how this month goes I might be POAS also, but probably privately because joining the board stresses me out
Good luck everyone!

@HellOnHeels: I'm having the same problem! My husband leaves at 530 in the morning, gets home at 7pm and is so tired. I feel for him, but I want to get knocked up haha
@cmomma17: it's hard being in the wait zone! I was sporting for days before my period came.

Good luck to everyone in June! I also don't know if I'll be able to join in this month but I'll be following along with my fingers crossed

Ladies! It's my first rodeo, so I'm wondering... do any of you do anything to "prepare" for pregnancy? Besides taking prenatals, anyway? Or do you think it's bad luck?
I've been avoiding buying any clothing items that I couldn't wear with a belly. No real maternity items, but I specifically have not purchased anything with a slim waist in a few months for the purpose of *hopefully* being KU soon.
pear / 1697 posts
@Circusbee: I've been doing the same thing. I have very few summer pants, but I've been delaying buying because if I can believe that I'll get ku in the next cycle or two, that means buying pants that would only fit for a couple months and then maybe never again.
nectarine / 2465 posts
@Circusbee: I avoided buying any new clothes for awhile, but after 4 cycles I said screw it just keep carrying on as normal

I'm officially here!
Cycle day: 1
Cycle #: we will call it 1, last month was more NTNP
Ovulation & POAS dates: June 8 for O and June 23 for POAS!
Baby #: 2
Your game plan this month: not sure if I will begin temping this month. Might just try to BD often and hope for the best.
Chart link: Not yet.

Good news - I've finally gone a few days without bleeding. YAY!
Bad news - I've had this awful cold so I'm not sure if all the drugs I've taken will affect O (lots of advil cold and some codeine cough syrup to sleep). My temps have been higher than usual, so I'm not hopeful about being "normal" this month.
And I have a feeling DH may want to put off trying for another month. His counterpart at work passed away unexpectedly over the weekend, so after tonight, he's not sure when he'll have time off again.

Alright, I'm joining...
Cycle day: Temp dropped today, tomorrow will be CD1
Cycle #: sigh... 5...
Ovulation & POAS dates: O: ~June 4 or 5; POAS June 18
Baby #: 1
Your game plan this month: I'm pulling out all the stops - Mucinex, grapefruit juice, preseed, soft cups, OPKs, temping and Fertiliaid for dh. I am also going to exercise the whole cycle, usually I stop after O because I'm nervous I will shake something loose but screw it!

I have no patience to begin with, and at CD12 of cycle #1 TTC I'm already losing it!! DH clearly has cold feet, because TWO nights in a row I cannot get him to bang! It should not be this hard (no pun intended ) so I think he's getting scared.
I'm trying not to overreact completely, since today is only CD12 and in the past 5 cycles, I've ovulated anywhere from CD15-CD21, more often on the later end of that range. Here's to hoping he can get it together by the time O actually happens!
UGH! Put a baby in me already! AmIright??
pomelo / 5129 posts
@Circusbee: I fear this, so I haven't told DH exactly what cycle day I'm on. And I try to initiate more throughout the cycle so he won't be fooled into knowing exactly when we're BDing with a purpose!
I feel a little guilty. I might have woken DH up super early (he doesn't have to go to work until this afternoon and then he closes) because I have no idea when I'll see him again with his awful work schedule. I don't think I'm fertile quite yet, but we hadn't BDed in nearly a week and I want there to be "fresh" swimmers if we do have the chance this weekend closer to O.
Sorry DH...but sometimes we both have to take one for the team I have a feeling I'll be staying up super late to try to catch him again over the weekend.
apricot / 390 posts
I didn't tell DH when I will be fertile either. Actually, he asked a few days ago when I would be, and I responded "do you really want to know?" Cue minor freakout from him and then him deciding he did not want to know. Unfortunately, I must not have a good track record for initiating the deed... so he's suspicious when I do.

Glad we're getting more POAS'ers!! Getting super excited to see a whole lot of BFP's!!!
Good luck to all the fellow BD'ers this week! We've been able to stay up a couple nights, hopefully cram in today and tomorrow as I've been getting EWCM and I won't be home this weekend.
persimmon / 1121 posts
Well it seems like I will probably be joining you over here soon. I still haven't O'd yet, so I won't be testing at all in May. I'll add my info once I O and know when my POAS date is. I hate these long cycles!!!!!! I'm still in my fourth cycle, which realistically isn't that long, especially because the first two were a bust with timing, but June is my 6th month, and all the waiting is wearing on me. After my BFN last month, the hardest part wasn't knowing I wasn't pregnant, but that I'd have to wait so long for my next opportunity.
clementine / 899 posts
@Aria: I'm so sorry. The TWW is bad enough, I couldn't imagine it being longer. Keep us updated. I hope you get your BFP this cycle!
pomelo / 5129 posts
@Aria: Ugh. Long cycles are the worst.
Is your doctor at all concerned about them?
persimmon / 1121 posts
@MaryM: Honestly, I haven't been to a doctor yet to discuss it, partly because I moved and hate finding a new doctor, and partly because I'm hoping I'm getting back to normal. Prior to TTC, my cycles were always on the longer side (30-35 days) so if they're within that range I'm not concerned. I had one really long 60+ day cycle back in Dec/Jan, but since then it's gotten shorter every time, down to 37 days last cycle. I still have a couple days to O and still have a "normal" cycle, so we'll see. I just hate waiting.
pomelo / 5129 posts
@Aria: oh. Well that's promising!
When I first came off BCP, i had a 99 day cycle. Thank GOD we weren't TTC then or I'm pretty sure I would have legitimately gone insane trying to wait that one out.
cherry / 203 posts
@aria I hear you sister! This cycle will be our six month mark and I've only O'd three times since we started TTC! You are not alone, I'm at approx 39 day cycles right now and I'm currently CD16 so at least we are in in together!
nectarine / 2465 posts
Officially cd1 today right on time. I'm thinking my game plan for the month will be eod, no temping, no opks, just enjoying my husband and my life and the beautiful weather!
pomelo / 5129 posts
I've officially pulled out the OPKs for this cycle. It was slightly darker than usual this morning, so I'm hoping that means my sickness (and the related drugs) haven't thrown my cycle off. Fingers crossed I O this weekend like I'm supposed to!
And I was worried DH wouldn't be around this weekend, but I found out he's closing every night. So while he'll be working, at least hopefully we can work in some morning/midday BDing?
