@lilyofthewest: I totally understand, taking a pic of a squinter is hard. I REALLY want to see something and I kind of maybe do but I can't be sure...
@As Time Goes By: I, too, am having a chill month and am so relieved! TTC took over for a while, but I feel back to " normal."
@meredithNYC: Booo...I am sorry. Enjoy your yummy drinks and happy early birthday!
@onthemove: I agree with the others, please post a pic!
@cmomma17: Have you tested yet or are you waiting g for AF?

  2. cmomma17

    honeydew / 7811 posts

@simplyfelicity: I was planning on waiting for AF. But now I'm starting to go a little crazy like the lady in that meme you posted
Not knowing when/if I O'd is the worst. I'm 99% sure I did O, because I haven't had any issues in that regard in the past. So I looked up all my old charts on FF from TTC #1 and started playing around with some numbers just for fun. I could have O'd anywhere from CD 15 - CD20. So based on that I'm assuming I'm at least 10 DPO! And I got my BFP for LO on 11 DPO!

So I may have talked myself into being hopeful again ....

Ok ladies, you asked so here it is. I feel ridiculous posting what is clearly a photo of a blank white box, but I did feel like possibly saw the ghost of a line and, with my colour-weirdness, it wouldn't hurt to have other eyes on it I guess. It's very very hard to photograph ghosts of lines!!

No sign of AF yet, so I'll test again tomorrow unless she shows up overnight.

@onthemove: I see a ghost. But I can't tell if it's real/an evap/line eye. Can you test again with FMU tomorrow?

@cmomma17: Nothing wrong with being hopeful! Good luck

@onthemove: I see a little bit of a ghost, too... fx

Thanks, ladies! Maybe we've all got line eye, but at least it's not just me! I'll test again in the morning.

@sunset840 Best of luck next month! So sorry this wasn't it for you!

@lilyofthewest Test again tomorrow morning, maybe you'll have a conclusive !

@simplyfelicity: Your "dreaded two week wait" explained in pictures is awesome. I sent it to my husband!

@sunset840: I'm sorry you're out and will see you on the July boards. I haven't gone to temping yet because frankly, I'm super lazy. However, reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and just learning from these boards has helped a lot. I do like the idea of charting and feeling more in control of things and I hope it helps! Who knows - I may end up doing the same further down the road.

@meredithNYC: sorry you're out... I'm still waiting to start the next cycle but I'll most likely see you in July.

@sunset840: I'm sorry but it sounds like you have a great "game plan." Best of luck in July! @onthemove: I feel like I might see something. Hopefully tomorrow gives you an answer!

  16. simplyfelicity

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

@cmomma17: There is no reason not to hope! I am sort of hopeful for the future if not this month mode. Then again, I am only 5 dpo or something, so it's easy to say that now.

Retested after work and got a stark white negative -- whatever I was seeing this AM was either a product of my imagination or a cruel trick of the dye run.

Still not having any AF sx though -- so, tomorrow's another day.

At this point I'm at least feeling confident that if I'm not knocked up, the kitchen sink I've thrown at my cycle (vitex, B-50 complex, acupuncture) is helping. I'm tied for my longest luteal phase, and I'm not having any of the pain or nausea that prefaced my last few periods.

    pomegranate / 3314 posts

@googly-eyes: thanks, friend! I hope for your sake I don't see you on the July boards :). I remember back when we both had ppd issues and it's crazy to think we're ttc again! Just goes to show how much better things get, huh?

@As Time Goes By: For some people consistent timing is really important -- even small variations in wake schedule lead to a messy and hard to read chart. Other people can work swing shifts and still have a beautiful chart so long as they temp after their longest sleep. I think most people end up with somewhat craggy but still interpretable charts when their sleep is variable

  20. MrsKRB

    nectarine / 2465 posts

@simplyfelicity: 5dpo is the best! 8, 9 , 10 is when it starts getting messy How are you feeling so far??

@lilyofthewest: Hoping you get happy news in the morning, but at least you can get something out of the cycle.

@As Time Goes By: you can also subtract or add .1 to your temp for every hour earlier/later you wake up from your normal time.

  21. simplyfelicity

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

@KelLeeLeee: I am actually 6dpo (better to be a day ahead vs day behind!)...10 days til I test...Feeling pretty "normal."

so can traveling affect you during the TWW? I've heard it can delay O, but i was home then and confirmed it via OPK, had great timing (O, O-1, O-3, O-5) and am on clomid and metformin. Figure it's a pretty good chance. But here I am 8DPO and starting to freak out and over analyze. I flew to london for work and have been way off my sleep schedule due to the time zone difference and lack of sleep on the overnight flight over. I'm not overly stressed... it's been a pretty easy trip... but i'm wondering if being so "off" during the TWW could make it so it doesn't "take" or something... is that even a thing?

also, was going to pack HPTs and forgot, so i'm not testing until i get back on 11dpo (blessing and a curse...)

  23. cmomma17

    honeydew / 7811 posts

    @LaughLines: I don't think that should affect you if you're past O.

  24. Aria

    persimmon / 1121 posts

@LaughLines: When I traveled, it only messed up my temps because of the time difference, but didn't affect the day I ovulated. If you traveled after O, then I wouldn't expect it to make a difference.

  25. googly-eyes

    GOLD / pomelo / 5737 posts

@meredithNYC: yes, absolutely!! It's amazing, really! I am still nervous that I'll get it again but am setting up more support this go around! Now to just get pregnant...

  26. cmomma17

    honeydew / 7811 posts

Blah. Starting to feel a little crampy/AF-y

Friday is going to be a really crazy, long day at work, so if I'm not pregnant this cycle I was hoping AF would at least wait until Saturday to show up! That way I can just lay around the house and be miserable ... well as much as you can lay around with three kids under foot

  27. cmomma17

    honeydew / 7811 posts

@LaughLines: are you still planning on POAS on 6/23? According to the roll call we are POAS buddies!

Feeling dizzy and nauseated this evening and my first thought was "maybe I am pregnant! I felt like this at 6dpo when I was KU in April!" Will someone please fly to California, shake and then slap me? I need to get my ish under control!

  29. googly-eyes

    GOLD / pomelo / 5737 posts

@simplyfelicity: Hehe where are you, maybe I'm close enough! Just kidding, I'd probably make you crazier and encourage the poas'ing!

  30. simplyfelicity

@googly-eyes: I am in the Central Valley. You? I promised myself I wouldn't symptom spot, but my brain was just all to ready to go there.

So I have been having cramps for a week or so now, and got a negative digital the day before af wa due. I know my cycle is all messed up I'm sure from breastfeeding and baby stuff so whatever. But a negative digital isn't going to lie. I'm figuring if its negative the day before my period it isn't going to change. So now I just wait for a period.

And I'm out.. Note to self: do not rely on gut feelings anymore!

On the plus side: I will not be the designated driver at our friends' wedding tomorrow and yes I will have another glass of champagne thank you very much!

I'm going to keep all my fingers and toes crossed for all you other ladies still in the running! Let's get some more bfp's before the month is up!!!

  35. simplyfelicity

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

@anonysquire: Sorry you feel you are out. Depending on when you ovulated, you could still be in for this month. @intotheocean had a super screwy cycle this month and got a BFP. I totally understand wanting to move on, though, I had an anovulatory cycle last month which sucked. I'll keep you on the roster until you know for sure one way or the other.
@mrsvdv: I'm sorry! It's so hard to not get your hopes up but I completely agree that symptom spotting etc can be playing with fire. I was CONVINCED I was pregnant last month...anyway, enjoy your champagne and have a great weekend!

@simplyfelicity: We are cycle twins again! (I am also 7 DPO.) I will insist that this means good things are about the happen (since last time we were cycle twins... well, we both know what happened. )

  39. simplyfelicity

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

@septca: Freaky! I was JUST thinking about how we both got KU in April, had funky cycles in May and are both back "on." Yes, I frequent the TTC 6+. You guys are hilarious. I know you try not to symptom spot, so I won't ask but when are you planning to POAS?

  40. septca

    GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts

@simplyfelicity: Oh, I SS. And track my symptoms religiously in FF. And compare my chart to past charts to make myself crazy. So far I have loads of creamy-watery CM, a sore and tingling chest, and cramps (sometimes pinching). Same as both my BFP cycles. So....

    How are you doing???
