What do you do with clothes that are stained?
LO has really done a number on her clothes, luckily she's the last LO so I don't need to try and use them again, however...I'm not sure what to do with them. I feel weird just throwing them in the trash, but I obviously can't sell them or hand them down...thoughts?

Our town has a new textile recycling drop off that benefits the local schools. Anything like that in your area?

For my own clothes I tie dye them and make sure to get the stains in the dyed part. I just keep a pile and do it every year or two. I may do that for Ts clothes if she has awhile left in those sizes. But I love tie dye which I know is not for everyone.

Either use as cleaning rags or what @MrsF: suggested. Our bins are also at the schools.

I used to throw them out, but then I found out that goodwill actually contracts with textile recycling companies for the things they can't sell, so I donate now instead.

It depends. Sometimes, I give them to my mom to try to get them out. She is a miracle worker with Simple Green and stain removal. This is especially true for the better clothes.
Things like Carter's clothes that are hopelessly stained, I throw away.
