Anyone know whether this is a no no in pregnancy? I love the iced passion fruit tea there! It doesn't have caffeine, but I think it's considered "herbal". It is the first nice day in Boston and I would LOVE one.

@Andrea: Ha, no I drink caffeine every day! I just get a little freaked out about the herbal tea/preterm labor warnings. I'm sure one passion iced fruit tea won't matter even if it is "herbal".

It depends on the ingredients. Certain ingredients found in some herbal teas are thought to trigger labor.

I am one of those annoying bubble people while pregnant but you can bet the first thing I did after getting home with Grayson was go out and have two martinis and a nice rare steak with my husband haha!
I avoided caffiene, alcohol, anything that can house listeria, tobacco and some herbs.

I hope it's okay, because I had a venti iced passion tea almost every day of my pregnancy. LO came a week late, and is a perfectly healthy 4 1/2 month old

this is coming from the woman who had a 1/2 glass of champagne on her babymoon....so why do I care about herbal teas so much?? lol.

I love passion iced tea sweetened! YUM!
used to get it all the time. I think it should be fine. Plus, I don't think a little caffeine is bad.. there's caffeine in chocolate too and I know I ate quite a bit of chocolate while I was preggers..

Well, I've had MANY iced passion tea lemonades and we're still cooking away at 37 weeks, so I wouldn't be worried

The information I found said that hibiscus is not safe during the first trimester because it may influence estrogen levels. After the first trimester though the antioxidants in hibiscus tea may be beneficial.

I drank it and it was fine. It is an herbal tea. : )
Try it with apple juice instead of lemonade sometime. It tastes like fruit punch. Haha. -

If you're not opposed to the sugar, try iced Passion tea with their raspberry syrup. Yum! Every time I order it the barristas get all happy. "That's my favorite!" "I love it that way but no one ever orders it!"

I don't get the lemonade - just the iced passion fruit tea w/ 1/2 of the sweetener. It's just sooo yummy!
