I'm also on the lookout for a steam mop! I think @Mrs Bee posted that she loves her Haan steam mop so I'm keeping my eye out for that one. However, I'm all ears for other awesome steam mops!

I have an H2O steam mop, it's okay, but I want to upgrade to the shark soon. Maybe for Christmas? Dare to dream

We have the Shark Deluxe Steam Mop, and I really like it. We use it multiple times a week (although I still do the floors by hand sometimes, too). I don't know how much it was since it was a Christmas present from my parents, but it looks like it's under $100 on Amazon and BBB.

I have a Shark Vac and Steam mop. LOVE IT! It's so convenient that it vacuums and steams my floors :)It's super lightweight too.

@BoogieBea: I had heard the same thing so have been holding off on purchasing one. For now I just go old school with my mop and Pine Sol, but I would love to use less chemicals in my cleaning routine, particularly for when LO starts crawling and getting more mobile.

We also use the Haan and love it! It's very compact and easy to move from room to room, which makes it so convenient to use.

I have the Shark and loooove it!!!!

@MrsBrewer: I still get on my hands and knees and scrub the floors once a month or so.

@MrsBrewer: I'm anal like that. What I do is I vacuum the floor before hand (mine's not the vacuum and steam model) then I use the shark. But what the steam mop does is it pushes everything around. So sometimes the corners and wall edges can get a little grimy so you still have to wipe those down.

The steam mop does do a great job of getting rid of oily kitchen floors!

@Mrs. Bee: Which Haan steam mop do you have? Would you recommend that over the Eureka one after having used both? We have hardwood throughout and I would like to also use it on an area carpet rug in the family room from time-to-time. Do you know if either one of them is capable of steaming carpet as well? I know the yellow Haan has that feature; but I'm looking at the lighter, newer ones (SI-70).
