I stepped in dog poo in the middle of the night when I was using the bathroom....ugh!! I had to wipe poo out from between my toes so I just ended up showering at 3am! So gross but at least it was on the bathroom floor and not our carpet.

Oh god-- that is NOT a good thing to wake up to! I've only ever done that when we were dog sitting for a friend. She warned me not to let her out of her play pen area, but I was like, Oh, she is being so good, it will be OK for a few minutes. Bam, poo on my bare feet. At least it was the middle of the day though.
Side note- DH has a coworker whose Roomba found poo in the middle of the night... and smeared it across every inch of the main level floor.

If I stepped in dog poo in the middle of the night, you best be believing that those dogs would be sleeping outside. Probably not, but I'd be majorly pissed!
