Yeah, I fit the stereotype...
As an asian, I think I am smart and my favorite subject was math and science. I think I'm pretty smart with computers, too.
As a east coaster who now lives on west coast, I am impatient. I drive defensively and a little aggressively when it is safe. I got things to do and people to see!
Now that I live in Seattle, I am much more aware of my environmental impact. I recycle more. I take the bus to work when I can. I pick stuff out of the trash when the DH doesn't recycle. I would love a compost but DH won't let me have one.
No, I don't fit the stereotype...
In high school, I did not take AP classes. I was not in the top 5% of my class. I am not musically talented... at all.
I am not a bad driver like the asian stereotype. I actually am very proud of my driving. Like I said, I can be impatient but I am a very good defensive driver. I've never been in any accidents that was my fault. It's been 10 years since I got a ticket. My family and my DH knows I'm a very good driver. My younger sister and dad fit the bad driver stereotype. I take the keys when I drive anywhere with them.
What about you?
