Just thye other day I got some bath things for their stockings: bubble bath, bath colors, and fizzy balls. I also have some new art supplies (new paint brushes, new coloring books, and new sidewalk chalk) that I plan on putting in there.

I was just going to suggest bath stuff! My son loves bath crayons, the Kandoo colored foaming soap, etc.

So far I have an elmo toothbrush (tradition I started last year that Santa brings new toothbrushes to everyone). I also bought a red stick with jingle bells on it for $5 at Pier 1. Adding art supplies to my list. Thanks!

@locavore_mama: I ordered mine on amazon. They have tons of options for girls. I was trying to decide whether or not to order B the disney princes/princess packages. Not sure if its "boy appropriate."

I have some of the above and also a play doh and tools set (which I opened so it fits) - I soooo wanted to give the tools (rolling pin, cutters, ect) early but I'm waiting!

I also got a bath book from the target $1 section!
I'll Prob buy a toothbrush too, we usually put one in our stockings.
@littlek: I totally think so! My brother got two cabbage patch babies for Christmas when he was just 2, and loved them. In case anyone else is curious..he's a totally normal, functioning, masculine member of society

@littlek: @Mrsjets: Hm we had decided no play doh yet bc I'm pretty sure she will eat it. But I can make my own!

My little guy LOVES to carry around and learn the names and noises to the Schleich plastic animals. I keep an eye out for sales and specials- the craft stores often have them so I use a 40-50% off coupon and collect them over time. Toys R Us just had them on sale for a buy one, get one 50% off.

Sadie isn't technically a toddler, but she toddles, so I'm going to count her.
So far I've gotten her a new sippy, a ballerina Little People set, and a new set of her blankies (A&A security blankets). I'm going to rummage through the Target $1 section closer to Christmas and find a few other little things to stick in there.

@mediagirl: No problem! I seriously can't say enough good things about these as toys. Some can be kind of small, so be cautious with choking, but the bigger ones are perfect for them to hold and stand up.

I'm thinking of doing some Christmas books he can have read to him while visiting the inlaws and maybe Goldfish. I just bought play keys and a play cell phone so he wouldn't throw mine around. I don't want to load him up on gifts before Christmas and before we switch out some older toys.
