Has anyone attempted to make story stones before? I think it's a really neat idea, but I'm not super crafty. Hoping someone has attempted these and can give tips!

Oh wow, I love those. I would think if you're not that arty (which I am not), you could also use mod podge and pictures you cut out from magazines.

@Mrs. Sunshine: they sell them but they are expensive, so I'm going to DIY!@looch: my mom said she could help me paint some, and then I'll do magazines for the rest!

@Bao: I want to make a set for my son's teacher. I think she would go nuts over them. I think I would also be able to use paint pens, do you have any of those? The set I have (from Amazon) has kind of wide tips, but I think it would be easier for me compared to using small brushes.

@Bao: I have a medium point set from Uni-posca, but I think a fine point set would be good for the detail work. Plus the coverage is good.
