What do you use for organizing/storing LO's stuffed animals? Ours are in a big laundry basket in her closet but I'm thinking of getting a hammock or something else to open up some space. Just looking for ideas...

we have a huge felt bin from land of nod, they all just get dumped in there, along with a few extra blankets.

I have a boon stuffed animal storage bag

It holds quite a bit when you pack it in there, and I stash it in the bottom of her wardrobe

This was originally intended for laundry until I realized that I didn't want to leave anything wet in there. Now it makes the perfect stuffed animal storage:

We use the shoe holder pictured in the second pic of this blog post. http://www.hellobee.com/2012/08/13/organizing-stuffed-animals/ It's on the back of her door. It doesn't contain all of them but it holds a fair amount. I get compliments any time someone sees her room.

@pancakes: I like the shoe holder idea. I could do it on her closet door. I'd really like something off the floor since her room is small.
I'm torn because she hardly plays w most of them, which makes me want to get rid of them. I mean, what good are they if they're hung up too high for her to reach or stuffed away where she can't see them?

@regberadaisy: What do you do if/when the kids want to play with them?
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
@HabesBabe: it's right above my 3 year old's bed. There's enough in there and she's tall enough to reach them! If there's one further back she can't reach, she just asks us to get them. It hasn't really been an issue! There's usually 3 or 4 that are current favorites that are always out. When they're no longer a favorite she tells me to put them back up. We typically only allow x number out so if she wants one then one has to go back up too.

We also have a hammock. They just ask for the ones they want. I agree that they reproduce!

I bought this play tent from Ikea and after we had it a couple of days, I realised it makes an awesome stuffed animal hider. http://m.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/art/40247820/
