So I've been sniffly/stuffy/sneezy the last few days. No big deal. I assumed it was a pregnancy symptom (I'm 31 weeks). Yesterday after my doctors appointment I started to feel the tiniest inkling of a sore throat coming on, which is always a sign I'm getting sick for me. By the time I went to bed it was a little worse, enough to tell DH I have a cold coming on.

Well I woke up at 1:30am to feel a sore throat sensation, only it's not in my throat at all. The whole back roof of my mouth is what's sore. It feels just like a sore throat but not at all in my throat. I googled and I can't find anything on this as to what it might be. At the moment I have no other symptoms. It's definitely not awful yet but it did get rapidly worse just from the time I went to bed (10:00pm) til when I woke up because of it (1:30am).

I've been around a few people who have been sick lately but normally I don't get sick. I guess pregnancy weakened my immune system. But I don't remember being around anyone who had a sore mouth (?) like this.

Anyone know what it is? DH checked and there is nothing out of the ordinary he can see in my mouth, although to me it feels a little puffy and riggedy. Cold Milk helped soothe it for a bit.

I'm going to try and go back to sleep.
