You would think since I've been down this road before (and fairly recently, DS is only 14 months old!) that I would be an old hand at this but as I keep getting reminded, every baby is different...

DD, only 3 weeks old, is having problem with bottles and subsequently having problems breast feeding. Now, the breast feeding isn't her fault - I had a breast reduction surgery and therefore don't make enough milk to feed her solely that way. But after giving her a bottle (I'm averaging about four bottles a day, where she'll eat anywhere between 2- 4 ozs) she has the devil of a time latching on. And when she's eating the bottle, she often eats too quickly, has trouble latching onto the bottle nipple, gets frustrated and cries, etc.

Now, I'm using the Avent bottles (wide nipple) that I used with DS. He didn't care for them after a few weeks either, as they frustrated him. But unlike DS, DD doesn't drink any better from the Dr. Brown bottles that we have oodles of. So my question is for all the HBs out there - what bottle does your LO drink out of? And has anyone else had this problem?
