I think that DH and I will be waiting a little longer to start trying (like the end of September ). Any advice on what to do this summer as sort of last-hurrah/bucket list things without baby?

@MrsPastryLady: Maybe a little vacation? Not something too spendy, just a little romantic getaway. And, yes, exercise and prepping your body. Don't forget your prenatals!!

We are waiting until the fall, too. We plan on having lots of movie dates, spending time drinking on patios, taking the dog hiking and to the beach. Nothing overly exciting! It is going to be a busy summer for us though so not a whole lot of time for big plans.

It took us quite a while and we ended up having several "last hurrahs". Enjoy your summer, and take a good trip!

@Mae: haha same here but for me those two cannot coexist I want to see some concerts, lose some more weight, and read at least one book that has chapters

If you can afford it a non baby / toddler friendly trip like Europe!
Late summer parties involving libations, raw oysters and sashimi! LOL

@mae @catchafallingstar I've been working on the "getting in shape" bit. why is it so much easier to put the weight on than it is to take it off?? Already doing my prenatals just in case, and thanks for the "drink more" reminder! haha

@locavore_mama we are going to Italy in a couple weeks with DHs family which I am really looking forward to.
@mrslion good call on the chapter books

As someone who's been pregnant two of three summers, I miss wearing non-nursing friendly sun dresses, drinking summer beers on patios, stretch-mark free swimsuit days and spontaneous day trips and evenings out!

@locavore_mama: It was cold summer shandy and frozen margaritas for me

The two things I wish I would have done is take a vacation with DH before TTC and get to a better weight.
It would have been nice to buy a house but I'm glad we didn't cause we didn't really want to be tied down to one spot.

If you like roller coasters hit up a theme park! DH and I usually go to Cedar Point every summer, but this summer I'll be pregnant and last summer I had a newborn and was recovering from a c-section, so it hasn't happened in quite a while.

I agree on the theme park if you like them, I was so sad when I realized we are going to a wedding near a theme park I haven't been to but it would be pointless to go since I can't do the rides.
Lots of planned and spontaneous cookouts with margaritas or beers and friends. And just go sit at the pool or beach with a great book and enjoy the sun!

@wonderstruck: good point about roller coasters! Along those lines, I've missed water skiing.
