We had Keens last summer for DS and I really liked them. The only downside is that they get stinky! I hope he still fits in them this summer so I don't have to find something new.

My DS lived in Carters sandals (similar to the look of Keens) all summer -

I only have a DD but we did Keens and Toms last summer, she loved both but the Toms do not wear well at all. I purchased both brands on Zulily in the last month or so for this summer... Keens were $25 and Toms were around $22. Worth signing up and keeping an eye out, both brands are on there fairly frequently!

I have sneakers and sandals for D. Considering getting the i-play shoes that look like Natives. Way cheaper.

I have girls, but I got Keens for DD1 and I love them. I got hers off of 6pm for a decent price when they had a sale.

Crocs and a pair of Nikes.

we used pedipeds last year and really liked them--sandals with but a closed toe.

I had bought the same for DS1 last year - two pairs of keens and a pair of toms. The keens get stinky! The toms were super cute. But the shoes he wore the most and liked the most were crocs. I'm not a huge fan of crocs but the little ones look cute on little feet. This summer I got him a pair of stride rite sandals and he'll probably get crocs again.

@Adira: LOL! I th ink I sold both pairs to you!

@Adira: not sure how you feel about teenage mutant ninja turtles, but I have a pair of barely worn 6/7.

I love the look and practicality of Keens, but DS's got very stinky. He needed non-flip-flop sandals for water play at daycare so I bought a pair of Tevas off 6pm and they worked great! I see they are trendy for women right now but I think they are much cuter on toddler feet (kind of like crocs).

He also wore a pair of slip-on Vans with no-show socks. I thought those were super cute with shorts for summertime.

We got some natives style ones from old navy for this summer. Not sure what else we will need yet as DS is just about 1 so this will be his first summer walking.

We did Toms and saltwater sandals last summer, planning on the same this year!
