My face is slick with oil. So gross. My skin is normally on the oily side, but this is really bad. Anyone experience this? Is this something that will go away in a few weeks?

I was sweating so much PP I could barely keep my face dry!! I think once your hormones level out so will the oil.

@prettylizy: yeah, probably hormones, like everything else!

@Andrea: I couldn't believe how the hormones affected me. There needs to be more PSAs about that stuff. We all talk 'till we're blue in the face about labour, but PP lasts way longer and is WAY crazier!

I have had very dry skin and hair my entire life. Like had to avoid all sulfates and cake the thickest moisturizers on to make it through the day, even in summer. 8 months postpartum, and I'm now very oily, all around. I remember sweating profusely and being pretty oily right afterwards, but the sweating stopped and the oilyness stayed. I can't imagine it will stay forever, though. That seems like a pretty drastic change to be permanent.
