What have your experiences been after a miscarriage and when you resumed ttc? I ask because ive had the range of supportive comments to insensitive ones where I've been told to "just pray".

We didn't really share broadly that we were TTCing after either miscarriage...

I didn't tell people I was ttc after my miscarriage. I'm sure people knew because they obviously knew we wanted a baby, but I think since I didn't bring it up they didn't want to either.
I think that people who haven't gone through it don't realize that what they're saying is insensitive. I have a friend who just recently found out that I miscarried, and she said things like, "At least you have you're LO now and things are good." Well yes, I'm so grateful for my LO, but that doesn't make the miscarriage any easier or any less painful. I still love and miss the baby that I lost and think about him all the time. But I just kind of let it roll off my shoulders because I know she means well by saying that.
Good luck TTC, wishing you a sticky baby!

I've shared because people have asked. I know that that's not how most people act. I don't think that I will share the news whenever we get pregnant again. I think that since so many people knew that we were pregnant and when we miscarried (at 20 weeks) they feel like they can ask about it.
Pretty much you have to take what everyone says like a grain of salt or like water on a duck's back.....just let it go. Say something like, "Oh, thanks." or "I'll remember that." You could also just nod your head and then remove yourself from that conversation.
Good luck!
