Does anyone use swagbucks? If so, can you tell me about it?
I know I'm super late to the game, but I was just reading about it on a money blog.

@cmomma17: I do! It's just a search bar and you get points for searches. But not all searches; it's kinda random.
When you accumulate x points (swagbucks) you can redeem for gift cards. I've gotten a few $10 Amazon gc.You can also get points for watching videos, doing surverys, etc.

@cmomma17: yep what she said! if you refer people, you earn swagbucks that they earn as well, up to a certain point. so in the beginning i got my mom, sister, etc. to do it & earned a ton of them! Little stuff like this, mypoints, surveys, microworkers, all add up for me and they're easy to do at home

I love having swagbucks!! I am thisclose to having a $50 amazon gift card. I will use that on E's baby registry.

I used it to get lots of discounted cloth diapers off of amazon for LO1. I haven't used it since though but it wasn't too difficult to get the gift cards, which was nice.

I don't recall to be honest bc I've been off the swagbucks wagon for a while. How much is a $10 e gift card?
There's only $5 then $15 and $15 is 1500 swagbucks! So 450 swagbucks for $5 is def a good deal!

@regberadaisy: Only the Amazon $5 cards are always 450 swagbucks. Starbucks, Target, etc. are all higher, like 500 or more! So it is a great deal!

@mommytotwois: swag bucks is a website where you create an account and then earn bucks through various activities (all advertising/product placement related), then you redeem your bucks for gift cards, you can download and use their toolbar for Internet searching, watch videos, take surveys, answer a daily poll, etc. I'm working on earning a few amazon cards to put towards Christmas,

@cmomma17: I'm assuming you're talking about gift cards?
Hover over your name on the top right hand corner of the site. A pull down menu will show up. Click on My Gift cards. Then I think if you scroll down there will be a pending gift card section. It should tell you there how many business days for you to receive it. I think it's usually 5-10 business days. -

@cmomma17: @plantains: how do you ladies like to earn swagbucks? I do the daily polls, use their search and recently started using their shop tabs. Seemed like a better deal than eBates!

@locavore_mama: I do the daily poll and I take a bunch of surveys. I try to do the 100 points surveys first

@locavore_mama: daily poll, a little searching, and videos videos videos. I can't fit surveys into my work day, but I can mindlessly click on videos (which I mute). I have the swagbucks tv app on my iPhone so I can do videos that way too. I rack up most of my bucks while nursing!
